they did look good. I had a hotdog on the way though and didnt feel it was my place to try and scrounge an onion ring.

FCC aids smaller companies like Cricket, Alltel (bought by sprint couple weeks ago), and Metro PCS to compete with the big dogs for spectrum.

The large companies wont explode they will just run out of spectrum, thats why sprint buys companies out, they need the spectrum. Its also why T-mobil has such bad cell service, they have too many users and not enough spectrum.

I would like to know why more people don't choose cricket. Although a $200 penalty would make think twice from breaking my wireless chains.

we may not have TV on a phone, but who watches TV on a 2 in monitor anyway, I'd rather wait personally.

plus no contracts, no chains, no penalties if you decided to switch to another carrier.

I agree, wireless companies are just to big in the US. With all the locked phones and trying to get everyone to go with one provider. If everyone did that the company would explode, and not in a good way.

Everything that has happened to me regarding wireless has all been the fault of disconnects within the company or untrained individuals at the controls of my account and everything contained therein.

I think all wireless companies suck. Period. (Sorry Doug, that is not a poke at you.) It just seems that the companies are so big they don't even know how to function anymore. It's all finger pointing and the store says go to Customer Service and Customer Service says go to the store. No one is getting any help. Customer Service is dead.

The funny thing is, I have been with Nextel for a long time - long before Sprint purchased them. I loved my Nextel. But since Kevin's company didn't have it anymore there was no real reason for me to stay. Then when I found out that Sprint offers Freightliner employees a pretty good discount there was not reason for us not to switch. It's not my fault Kevin's phone turned out to be a brick. It's not my fault that our phone choice was discontinued shortly after we purchased them. I'm not asking for extras here - I just want it "made right."

I got one.

The guy working the concession stand at Woodburn sucks.

I bought onion rings on Saturday, and he gave me 9 little onion rings. Didnt even fill half the basket. I thought oh well, I wont say anything, then I thought ah, what the hell. I go back and say "hey if I pay a couple bucks more can I get a full basket.

The guy looks and says he actually gave me extra. WTF? (sorry) really he gave me extra. wow. His boss came over and laughed at how many he actually gave me and said they would give me more no problem. Not going give those guys any of my money next week. Racing is already through the roof.

AT&T wireless sucks! I was with Sprint and they suck too! I bought a new phone at full price through Sprint and they said I would get a $300 rebate but then customer service blamed the credit department and vice versa. I got fed up with how disconnected Sprint is within itself I stayed my ground until they let me out of my contract. I went to AT&T and what a mistake that was. I had barely had the phone for a month and my SIM card burnt up. I was in the middle of nowhere when I found out my phone didnt work. I go to the AT&T store and their excuse was "oh, we send out bullets to random phones in case they are stolen" Really??? So you just blow up random phones daily just in case? Well, not three weeks later it happened again! With a different phone! This time they charged ME for the sim card because they said I didnt inform them of my changing of phones, although it took place in one of their stores! To top that off, it would burn out at night, after their customer service is closed, why on earth is AT&T so special that they can close at 9 PM while the other places are open 24 hours? My phone was ok for a couple more weeks after that and then I get a phone call in a meeting. I couldnt take the call so I let it roll to voicemail. When I get out of the meeting I go to call voicemail jus to have it tell me I need to put in a password. I never had to before so I call customer service. They ask what number is programmed in my phone for voicemail, I tell them, they reply with the number doesnt work anymore and all we need to do is change it and everything will work. I change it and go to call voicemail only to have it now ask me to set it up! I go through all this BS I had already gone through only to find out ALL MY VOICEMAIL WAS DELETED!!!!!! WTF, seriously? Where are my voicemails? They couldnt give me an excuse and once I just went into repeat mode of "cancel my account and get rid of the termination fee" they finally did just that. Now I am with T-Mobile and although I just went over my minutes by 500 I am happy with them.

Man that sucks.... But I like the idea of a "post your rant" thread!

Sprint sucks. We got new phones in June. Kevin's had severe issues. The store did nothing but give us the run around day after day, after day over getting a replacement. I finally ended up calling customer service who agreed to replace both mine and Kevin's phone. (Which the store was supposed to do.) Now, after forking out full price for the original phones and the replacement phones, they're telling me that I might not be able to return the originals. Um, excuse me but I don't think so. Multiple problems were reported within our "30 day unconditional" guarantee. Now customer service points the finger at the store, and although I haven't talked to the store yet, they gave me the run around about replacing the phones in the first place. They better refund me for the original phones or I swear to God I am calling 2 On Your Side.

Sorry, have to vent.

I got a call yesterday, my GN started up but the o2 was a tad off. He changed the tune a bit to bring it back in line, then I reminded him he is running on leaded gas so not to worry, the o2 is fine.

Now feeling better that the car is running and the o2 is fine he hits me with "there is a coolant leak from the front cover and when I put it in gear it binds up and dies". Great, how much more money do I need to spend, its not like I am broke or anything. Well, the coolant leak should be nothing, possible missing sealant around a bracket. The binding up and dying though could be anywhere from free (oops, the trans guy missed something) to $500 (stall I bought is junk and now need to buy a better one). The free fix would put my car out another week since the transmission would need to be pulled again, torn down, then put back in. The $500 problem could make it as soon as today that the car would run and drive.

I am over the wait, I stopped hoping to put it in car shows and races a while ago. I now just want it to stop costing me more and more money. I swear, I just want the car so I can put it in a garage and look at it and hope by looking at it I dont break something else.
